Tepidarium is an ode to being footloose and fancy free. It is reassuring, warm and sweet, pleasant and positive. From its fun-filled citrusy note a caramelised note grows up. A concrete, solid base whose green, woody and musky notes are underlined by green tea.
You want to get away from it all. You can almost feel the pleasant warmth of the sunshine as it caresses your skin and the lazy to and fro of your hammock. An exotic cocktail on the seashore or at the poolside. A moment's relaxation in the middle of your holiday, before you decide how best to while away the rest of the time you have set aside for a temporary break from your work and your commitments. Moments like these deserve to be savoured to the full, in the utmost peace and quiet. In the Roman baths the Caldarium for the hot bath and the Frigidarium for the cold plunge were grouped around the great central hall named the Tepidarium. It was here that patrons spent most of their time and indulged in the most relaxing part of the treatments, while chatting amiably.
